General travel and payment conditions from Staycations-Ireland (a trading name of S.R. Travel Ltd)

1. Registration & Booking Confirmation
With your online-booking or submission of registration, you enter into a legally binding travel contract. This also includes all relevant participants mentioned on booking. You are responsible for their contractual obligations as for your own obligations. The travel contract is legally binding when the booking is confirmed in writing by email by S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland.
2. Terms of Payment
For both standard and tailor-made travel packages, full payment is payable on booking. Rebooking fees, where applicable, are also due for payment immediately. Should we not receive payment in due time or should the payment not be received in full, we are entitled to withdraw from the travel contract and to claim the travel cancellation fees listed in section 5.
3. Services
The scope of the contractually agreed services is defined by the service description of the respective offer, in addition to the general information and the corresponding details in the confirmed travel itinerary. S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland reserves the right to make necessary changes to individual travel services after the conclusion of the agreed content of the travel contract, where such changes are required because of circumstances beyond our control and in so far as any such changes are not substantial, are deemed to be in the best interests of our customers and do not affect the overall structure or quality of the package. Clients will be informed immediately of any such changes in services.
4. Withdrawal by the Traveller, Rebooking and/or Substitute Persons
4.1 If you withdraw from the travel contract more than 21 days before the intended date of commencing your trip, S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland is entitled to demand compensation of 20% of the total confirmed amount, for the travel arrangements made as well as any reasonable expenses incurred in cancelling arrangements with service providers.
4.2 The provision made in section 4.1 also applies in the event of changes with regard to the date of travel, destination or accommodation, which are made at your request after conclusion of the travel contract. In the case of only minor changes, however, we charge a processing fee of €30.
4.3 It is possible to substitute any named member of the traveling party with a named substitute person. The substitute person then assumes the responsibilities, with respect to the travel contract and these terms and conditions, as the original member of the travelling party and is liable for the travel price.
4.4 Declarations and confirmation of withdrawal, rebooking, substitution of original members of the travelling party and all other changes must be made in writing.
5. Cancellation Fee
Should you need to cancel at any time please contact us immediately by e-mail: info@staycations-ireland.com or phone: Tel. 064 66 30458. Any correspondence must be confirmed in writing by e-mail within two working days of the original communication.
The cancellation fees are as follows:
Up until 21 days prior to your trip start date: 20% of the total price is charged
Up until 14 days prior to your trip start date: 40% of the total price is charged
Up until 7 days prior to your trip start date: 80% of the total price is charged
Up until 48 hours prior to your trip start date: 100% of the total price is charged
6. Unused Services
If you do not make use of any of the individual travel services included in your package due to any reason, S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland will not be liable for a refund.
7. Cancellation and Termination by the Tour Operator
S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland is entitled to withdraw from the travel contract prior to the start of the vacation or to cancel the travel contract completely at any point during the vacation without observing a period of notice in the event that a member of the party causes persistent disturbance or acts in an abusive manner to our staff, our service providers or other individuals. In such circumstances, we and/or the service providers justifiably reserves the right to cancel the travel contract immediately.
8. Force Majeure
If the journey is considerably impeded, endangered or impaired as a result of force majeure such as natural events, embargo, war, revolution, riot or any other reason completely beyond the influence or control of the parties, where such circumstances are evident only after the conclusion of the travel contract, are not foreseeable and cannot be avoided, both you and S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland may cancel the contract. In the event that the contract is terminated, we may demand appropriate compensation for the travel services already provided or still to be provided in order to complete the trip. S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland are obliged to take the necessary measures, especially if the contract includes return transport. Any additional costs for return transport are to be borne equally by you and S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland. Costs for any additional services shall be borne by the traveller.
9. External Services
S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland are not liable for disruptions to services which are merely brokered as third-party services and which are also expressly identified as third-party services in the travel description.
10. Changes of Contract
S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland will use its best endeavors to operate all tours as advertised. However, we reserve the right, in the unlikely event of it being unavoidable and in the best interests of our customers, to change any of the facilities, services or itineraries described on our website.
If a „major change“ is necessary or deemed advisable, the company will advise the client as soon as is reasonably possible. A „major change“ may for example be a change in itinerary or a change in duration of a client’s holiday. If advised of a major change before departure, the client will have the choice of accepting the proposed changes, (considering also any additional charges or refunds that may apply), purchasing an alternative tour from the company (again considering any additional charges or refunds that may apply), or cancelling the tour with a full refund.
For the avoidance of doubt, a change of named accommodation or transport is not considered a major change, however, S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland endeavors to inform clients of any such changes.
11. Personal Insurance
We strongly recommend that purchase a travel insurance policy as soon as you have booked your trip with us.
A travel insurance policy protects you as well as your travel arrangements from anything unexpected during your trip.
It is your responsibility to decide what cover you need, but we do recommend that your policy should include cover for emergency medical costs, cancellation or curtailment of your trip, personal belongings, baggage and personal liability. We highly recommend reading through any insurance policy prior to the departure of your trip.
In the event of emergency rescue, medical care and/or repatriation from a trip due to injury or medical emergency, any evacuation and medical costs will be borne by the client or by their aforementioned relevant personal/private insurance.
All luggage and personal equipment are, at all times, your responsibility and brought with you at your own risk. We will not be responsible whatsoever for any loss or damage to your luggage and/or personal equipment.
12. Claims & Complaints
Should the client have any reason to complain, the client must notify S. R. Travel Ltd. t/a Staycations-Ireland and the relevant service provider immediately. If the complaint is not dealt with satisfactorily at the time, the client must write to us with full details of the complaint within 14 days of the end of the tour. Failure to notify complaints entirely within accordance of this clause will diminish or extinguish the client’s ability to claim compensation.
13. Final Provisions
13.1 The contract, including all matters arising from it, is subject to Irish Law and shall be the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish Courts.
13.2 The collection and processing of all personal data is carried out in accordance with the applicable statutory data protection provisions. Only such personal data is collected and, if necessary, forwarded to contractual partners as is necessary for the processing of your trip. Our employees and our contractual partners are obliged to maintain secrecy. You can object to the further use of your personal data for advertising purposes by S.R. Travel Ltd t/a Staycations-Ireland at any time by sending an email to info@staycations-ireland.com. After receipt of your communication, we will immediately stop sending further advertising material and delete your contact details from our records.

This notice applies to all S. R. Travel Ltd t/a Staycations-Ireland clients who have booked through us. This notice forms part of our compliance in respect of the General Data Protection Regulations 2018.
We believe that the responsible use of personal information collected on our websites, by phone, letter, email or in person, is critical to our business objectives and reputation. As part of our ongoing commitment to privacy, we have reviewed and revised our Privacy Notice in line with the General Data Protection Regulations 2018. The extent and type of information we receive from you on our external websites and other channels depends on the information you provide to us through our contact mailboxes and/or through any registration processes on our sites or by other means.
We will only collect information relevant to the processing of your booking and will store all data that we obtain from you in a secure manner. We only share and use data where you have agreed for us to do so.
